PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AS A CAMERA OPERATOR
Since 2001, Robert Sams has co-owned Sisbro Studios, LLC, an award-winning media production company that inspires people through creative storytelling. As a camera operator, he has produced television and web content for clients nationally including PBS KIDS, PBS Digital Studios, The Jim Henson Company, CNN’s Great Big Story, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. In Oregon, he has filmed many local projects for a variety of organizations including OMSI, Legacy Health and Randall Children’s Hospital.
Robert has filmmaking experience in documentary projects, narrative projects, and music videos. He also has extensive experience filming wildlife, both on land and underwater. See examples of his work below.

Skunked
Being sprayed by a skunk is probably not on your annual to-do list. But when you care for orphaned skunks, it’s part of your job description. Jessy Gill is a wildlife rehabilitator who has been sprayed by skunks over fifty times. But it’s all worth it for one of nature’s most loveable unloved creatures.

My Haggan Dream
On the island of Saipan, a young girl’s mysterious dream about a haggan, or green sea turtle, leads her to investigate the sea turtles that live around her home. Join her adventure to find turtles, which leads to a wonderful birthday wish.

The Great White Shark Song
A group of raucous sea lions sing a tribute to their old nemesis, the great white shark. This scene is from the half-hour, award-winning film The Shark Riddle, available on itunes . Robert filmed the sea lions in southern Oregon for this piece.
Imma Star
In this music video produced for the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, science rap artist Mike Likes Science shows us what it really means to be a star.
